    Do not edit pages unless you are instructed to do so on the instruction page or by Ms. Suslick. For example, don't edit this page, the home page, the instructional pages, etc.
    Make relevant edits. For example, do not add in random pictures or text. Ms. Suslick CAN see who makes such edits, even if they are no longer visible on the wiki page itself.
    If you think that one of the pages that is locked, and therefore can not be edited by anyone but organizers, should be edited, either talk to Robbie, Brandon, Hannah, or Mrs. Suslick, or post what you want to see changed under the discussion tab.

    Clustering
    Clustering can help you make an outline from your original brainstormed list. Take the main topic and put a circle around it. Then, take the rest of your ideas from the list and make them branch off of the larger topic. Some ideas will probably branch off circles that aren't the topic circle.

    From here, take your list and cluster and decide which topics should be evidence for other ideas. (You have already started doing this in your cluster!). Now assign the correct numeral or letter to each idea (see Outline Help) and you have an outline.

    4. Indent subtopics so that all letters or numbers of the same kind will come directly under one another in a vertical line.
    5. Begin each topic and subtopic with a capital letter; otherwise, capitalize only proper nouns and proper adjectives.

    Preparing a Sentence Outline
    There are some occasions, however, when you may prefer to use a sentence outline, which is always clearer because it gives more detail. A sentence outline is preferable if you are outlining for someone else who may not grasp the full meaning of the short headings in a topic outline. A comparison of the sentence outline below with the topic outline on above will indicate the advantage of the sentence form.
    {English wiki example.pdf}{sentence_outline.JPG}
    You should observe the following rules of form when you are making either a topic outline or a sentence outline for your own expository composition.
    1. Place the title above the outline. It is not one of the numbered or lettered topics.
